Hozier has confirmed a series of UK tour dates.

The run will open at Edinburgh's Usher Hall on January 8.

He will then play the likes of Manchester, Liverpool and London.

The jaunt will close with gigs in Portsmouth and Cardiff in early February.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale from 9am UK time on September 4. Check out the full schedule below:

• January 12  - Liverpool, Empire
• January 29 - London, O2 Academy Brixton

• February 5 - Cardiff, St David's Hall
